The Philippine Garrison is a unit of the 501st Legion, an international organization of Star Wars fans who wear the costumes of the bad guys, all for a good cause.

The 501st Legion is an international organization of Star Wars fans dedicated to wearing the costumes of villains from around the galaxy. We have over 12,000 members all over the world. But we’re not all bad! The 501st is devoted to raising funds for children’s charities all over the world.

The Philippine Garrison is the local representative of the 501st Legion, with almost 100 members. The third largest garrison in Asia, our troopers are regulars at the annual Philippine Toy Con, Asia Pop Comic Con, Manila International Book Fair.

Some of our members participated in historic events such as the 2007 Tournament of Roses Parade, the recent Hong Kong Star Wars Parade, and multiple Star Wars Celebration events. Since 2014, we have organized the annual Star Wars Reads Day to promote reading among kids.
